Pink Jasmine
I love this time of year~ the pink jasmine out front are in full bloom. They managed to escape damage from all the rain and their sweet smell is floating in through the open windows. The gardenias and hydrangea aren't far behind and the climbing roses are starting to peek out as well. I love spring!

Three Little Ones
Here are my little munchkins. They run wild and drive me crazy but they always melt my heart with hugs and kisses. They are growing up so fast and soon the house will be quite and empty and I know I will miss these days. When that happens I am glad I will have these precious photographs to look back on.

Favorites
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from a project I did at the preschool. Every year the school has a black and white photo fundraiser. This year another photographer and I took the pictures and I had a blast. It was so much fun getting to watch the kids and catch them playing. I didn't pose anyone or even ask them to smile! Some of them saw my camera and wouldn't leave me alone; others saw my camera and ran the opposite direction! It was fun and challenging and I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I do!

Family
Here are some pics from Easter of my family. I love it when they get dressed up and let me take pics. The best present ever was when all three of them looked at the camera and smiled! As I said before, it doesn't happen often. Much better than the pic from the other day where they were all scowling and crying!

The Secret to Happiness
I have discovered the secret to happiness in my house: creativity. Everyone in my family, from my husband, to me, to my kids are happier when we are creating something. For me, I love taking pictures, cooking, knitting, gardening. Anything I am doing, I love just creating. The same goes for my kids. They are 6, 4, and 2 and if you give them crayons, scissors, paper, and tape they will be happy for HOURS. I recently discovered this about my husband as well. He loves to remodel and build things. Give him a project and he is happy.
We are a creative family, though I never realized this until recently. We get cranky when we aren't creating something. So, I pledge to get the crayons out more often with out complaining about the mess of glue and scraps littering the floor. I pledge to do something creative everyday with photography and design (which I hope this blog will help me with) and I pledge not to cringe as much when I get home and find my husband has ripped out light fixtures and torn up carpet in an impromptu remodeling project!
Classic
This is the best I can do. I at least got all three of them in the same place at the same time. At least you can see all three faces. I can take pictures of other people's kids. I can take pictures of flowers, dogs, cars you name it. Ask me to take a picture of my own three kids and this is what you get. Individually I can get great pictures of them. Put all three of them together and all heck breaks loose! I know, I know, it is because I am their mom and of course they don't want to listen to me! That is why it is so different when I take pictures of other people's kids. They listen to me because I am not their mom and they are usually fascinated by my camera (the candy that I bribe them with helps a little too)!
